Uma encomenda especial.

Uma amiga encomendou-me um presente exclusivo para dois novos integrantes da família, nascidos há pouco tempo. Apesar de não ser uma pessoa afinada com o universo infantil, aceitei a encomenda, pois ela não se importou que eu fizesse um presente focando mais nas mães que nos bebês mas que, ao mesmo tempo, pudesse agradar às crianças depois de crescidas.
Foi então que tive a ideia de "ressuscitar" essas duas bonecas russas, que "não haviam sido utilizadas na exposição "Magioskas" (dez/2009).
Semana que vem os presentes serão entregues e eu espero que todos gostem, mas me dou por satisfeita se minha amiga curtir tanto quanto eu ao fazê-las.

A dear friend of mine asked me to make an exclusive gift for two new members of her family, born in the past couple of months. Despite the fact that my work is not exactly childlike, I accept the commission because my friend agreed with my vision of doing something more focused on the mothers rather than the babies, although they might as well like it as they grow up.
That's when I had the idea of bringing back to life these two Russian dolls that hasn't been used for the "Magioska" exhibition (Dec/2009).
Next week the gifts will meet their owners and I hope they'll like it, but I'll be more then happy if my friend enjoys it as much as I did making it.
