Illustration Friday - Phobia
I don't like to look up when surrounded by high buildings, I always fear that it might fall down on me. It is kind of a heights' phobia...backwards.
I wonder if someone feels that way too...

wow..great fish-eye perspective!! well done..
Wonderful perspective. You're amazing with just a black pen and a piece of paper.
Love it! especially the crossword effect building peeking out from behind the others :)
to be honest, i've never had that sensation, but looking at this drawing, well, it really evokes the feeling i guess you must have! it's great, i love it!
Now I have to sit down, I'm all dizzy. Didn't have that phobia, but might be coming down with it...
Kewl drawing, worth the woozy.
very cool perspective!
the perspective is really great! It really makes you dizzy to look at your picture (although for me it's quite pleasant, but I can imagine it may be scary, too)
naw- i love buildings, so I super ove your drawing :)
This is totally effective! This really gave me a sense of impending doom! Well done!
Really great drawing. I sometimes get dizzy looking up like this, but I kinda like that.
it's called anablephobia. i bet doing this illustration was a horrible experience, but it turned out great.

I am much more afraid of being on the tall building and falling off. Nice sketch!
Excellent... and quite an idea as well. Good perspective, and concept.
whoa! falling up!!!
this is amazing!
great arial perspective def gives the feeling of the bldgs crowding in on you
looooove this image! something good has come out of your phobia!
you're making me dizzy!.. effective and cool illo!...
Fernanda, your talent truly leaves me breathless...and now it left me super dizzy too! hahaha. The perspective of this illo is fantastic. Was it based on a picture or is it from your prolific imagination?
Regarding my PHOBIA illo...I actually have Thlassophilia (an uncontrolable love of the ocean) :-)
By the way, you look beautiful in your new profile picture.
Thanks againg for the kind words you always have for my work.
The perspective on this is awesome. It actually made me get sweaty palms. So I guess that means I have this phobia too!
I absolutely love this image. Wow. you really captured the feeling. I, on the other hand, - like the feeling of looking up at tall buildings. :) I loved New York. Its pretty looking up, - ant the buildings create shapes against the sky. And even better is if there are clouds above them. :)
This is not a common phobia, but it seems to be true just looking at your illustration! I think I've said it before, but I just visited your website again and I really love your work!
yes, i suffer too
especially when they start talking
to me
or at me
more at me
than to me

Wonderful drawing. It makes me feel nervous.
always great! love your style-
This is ANABLEPHOBIA acording to the site I found when creating my illo... in fact, I have just the book for that! :-) My has this, but only when she is already in a high place when looking up.
Very nice perspective. Conveys the idea very well.
Love it. It has the same feeling as if you passed out and a group of people were all huddled over you asking if you're okay.
Hi, I understand you, when I look at your image! Great perspective it's very expressive.
Wild picture - it is totally reverse vertigo!
beautiflly done - i get this feeling sometimes too...
Yeah. It can be scary, especially since the lines aren't square. I think artists are probably more sensitive to the movement implied by line.
:)=
oh my, you captured it well! great illo. i wouldn't want to look down either
Great rendering of that feeling!
I get the same feeling when I meet people taller than me.
A perfect illustration, I really can feel the phobia.
Un saludo
I have spent the last five minutes staring at this drawing in awe and (half-jealous) amazement.
My wife loves your drawings! I like them too!
