Illustration Friday - Phobia

I don't like to look up when surrounded by high buildings, I always fear that it might fall down on me. It is kind of a heights' phobia...backwards.
I wonder if someone feels that way too...

  19. Fernanda, your talent truly leaves me breathless...and now it left me super dizzy too! hahaha. The perspective of this illo is fantastic. Was it based on a picture or is it from your prolific imagination?
Regarding my PHOBIA illo...I actually have Thlassophilia (an uncontrolable love of the ocean) :-)
By the way, you look beautiful in your new profile picture.
Thanks againg for the kind words you always have for my work.

  21. I absolutely love this image. Wow. you really captured the feeling. I, on the other hand, - like the feeling of looking up at tall buildings. :) I loved New York. Its pretty looking up, - ant the buildings create shapes against the sky. And even better is if there are clouds above them. :)

This is ANABLEPHOBIA acording to the site I found when creating my illo... in fact, I have just the book for that! :-) My has this, but only when she is already in a high place when looking up.

Very nice perspective. Conveys the idea very well.

Love it. It has the same feeling as if you passed out and a group of people were all huddled over you asking if you're okay.

  30. beautiflly done - i get this feeling sometimes too...

    ResponderExcluir
  31. Yeah. It can be scary, especially since the lines aren't square. I think artists are probably more sensitive to the movement implied by line.
